About

We have always thought of life as a long road.

We pass through places, people, changes and milestones. Some moments become checkpoints. We celebrate them, document them, remember them, or keep something that carries a little piece of that time with us.

That idea became Motel De.

A motel was made for people on the road. You arrive, stay for a while, then continue the journey. A place between where you came from and wherever you are heading next.

“Motel” represents that pause. “De” is the transition into what comes next.

Motel De Commute.

Motel De Eclipse.

Motel De Salmon.

The name is left open on purpose. Each piece continues it in a different way, like another stop along the road.

We stop for a while, look back, celebrate how far we’ve come, then keep going.
