Purchase Policy

Motel De

At Motel De, each timepiece is produced and allocated with intention. By placing an order whether pre-order or ready stock, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

I. Pre-Order Terms

Pre-order pieces are produced in carefully planned and limited quantities based on confirmed customer orders.

1. Production & Allocation

All pre-order timepieces are scheduled specifically according to received orders.

Once production has commenced, the order becomes final and binding.

2. Payment Structure

Deposit Orders

If a deposit option is offered:

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure allocation.

  • The remaining balance must be paid by the stated deadline.

  • Failure to complete payment by the deadline will result in:

    • Cancellation of the order

    • Forfeiture of the deposit

    • Release of the allocated piece

Deposits are strictly non-refundable once paid.

Full Payment Orders

If full payment is made at the time of pre-order:

  • The order is considered confirmed and secured.

  • Once production has begun, the order cannot be cancelled.

  • Payments become non-refundable from the commencement of production.

By completing full payment, you acknowledge that the piece is being produced and reserved specifically for you.

3. Cancellations & Modifications (Pre-Order)

  • Requests for changes after the stated deadline will not be accepted.

  • Cancellation requests after production has begun will not be approved.

  • Engraved, personalized, or custom pieces are strictly non-cancellable and non-refundable at any stage.

4. Estimated Delivery (Pre-Order)

Estimated timelines are provided as guidance and may be subject to adjustment due to:

  • Production variables

  • Component or supplier delays

  • Shipping or customs matters

  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Such adjustments do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.

II. Ready Stock Terms

Ready stock pieces are available for immediate allocation and dispatch upon payment confirmation.

1. Order Confirmation

An order is confirmed once full payment has been received and verified.

Motel De reserves the right to cancel or decline an order prior to dispatch in cases of:

  • Payment verification concerns

  • Inventory discrepancies

  • Pricing inaccuracies

In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

2. Cancellations (Ready Stock)

  • Cancellation requests are not guaranteed once payment has been completed.

  • If the order has not yet been dispatched, cancellation may be approved at our discretion.

  • Once dispatched and tracking provided, the order cannot be cancelled.

Approved cancellations may be subject to a processing fee to cover payment gateway and administrative costs.

3. Returns (Ready Stock Only)

Due to the nature of fine timepieces, returns are accepted under limited conditions:

  • Return requests must be submitted within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.

  • The piece must be unworn, unused, and in original condition.

  • All packaging, documentation, and protective materials must remain intact.

All returns are subject to inspection prior to approval.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Motel De reserves the right to decline returns that do not meet these requirements.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following are strictly non-returnable:

  • Engraved or personalized pieces

  • Limited editions marked as final sale

  • Items showing signs of wear, resizing, or damage not caused during transit

  • All pre-order pieces once production has commenced

III. Shipping & Risk Transfer

Orders will only be dispatched once full payment has been received and cleared.

Once dispatched and tracking is provided, responsibility transfers to the customer.

Motel De is not responsible for courier delays, customs processing times, or incorrect shipping details provided at checkout.

IV. Payment Disputes

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and agreed to this Purchase Policy.

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute for a valid transaction that complies with these terms may be considered a breach of agreement.

Motel De reserves the right to submit order confirmations, delivery records, policy acknowledgement, and production documentation to the relevant payment provider in the event of a dispute.

Future purchases may be declined in such cases.

V. Agreement

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy in full.
